Product properties
The protection sleeve PPS-SIL is a combination of a braided glassfibre construction and a silicone rubber coating. This combination leads to a smooth and constant surface together with an excellent roundness. The roundness helps for an easy handling inside the cable harness protection assembly. The resistance against high temperatures and aggressive fluids or gases is nearly perfect. On request the PPS-SIL is available with a wide range of colors and for special application in self-extinguishing quality following
UL 1441 VW-1 or UL94-V0.
- Operating temperature –40 to 300 °C
special smooth, non sticky and constant silicone-coating, easy to assemble
- self-extinguishing according to UL
- wide range of colors
- physiologically and ecologically harmless
