Company History

PMG, established in 1992, is a privately owned company with many years' experience in the design and supply of heat shrinkable tubing and cable management products. Plastronic is the trademark of the PMG Company.

PMG Company has undergone significant growth over the last five years, in both turnover and in the range of products offered. We moved to a new facility at the beginning of 2007 to allow for continued growth and the further expansion of our product range.

Products

We hold one of the largest and most varied stocks of heat shrinkable tubing in Europe. This range incorporates standard commercial tubing through to high performance FDA approved medical grade tubing. We offer acable marking system, cable repair products, heat shrinkable cable glands, expandable braided sleeving, high performance braid, spiral binding, solder and crimp devices, heat shrinkablemolded shapes, as well as a comprehensive range of medium wall, heavy wall tubing, and endcaps. We also offer a fast turn-around highly competitive cutting, marking and kitting service.

PMG can offer ultimate flexibility in the way our product is delivered. We have an extensive standard stock profile available for same day shipment, and are able to deal with varying usage from a range of standard cost effective options. We have also been very successful in demonstrating our ability to support high volume manufacturers with a range of customised inventory and logistics programmes.

We also have a wide range of options for those looking to distribute the Plastronic brand, or with private label requirements. This includes a fully customised packaging and labelling service. We would welcome an invitation to design a product programme that suits the needs of your business.
  

Teena Ackary PMGTeena Ackary – Managing Director

A founder member of PMG Company, Teena has 30 years experience in the heat shrink tubing industry, mainly in the areas of commercial and distribution. After several successful years managing a worldwide private label distribution division of the industry market leader, she branched out in 1992 to launch PMG Company, with a view to offering to the market place a source which was independent, knowledgeable, customer focused, and inventory rich.
 

 

Barbara Hayton PMGBarbara Hayton – Sales Director

Barbara began her career in the multinational field of electronics more than 20 years ago, before moving to Raychem where she was given the task of reorganizing the telemarketing team. Barbara’s affability and drive saw her quickly become a successful sales figure. She gained speciality knowledge in the medical field and was involved in the marketing of the medical range of heat shrinkable products before joining forces with Teena Ackary for the launch of PMG Company.
 
 
 

Ben Parsons PMGBen Parsons – Sales Manager

With over 10 years experience in the electronics industry, Ben has been a great addition to the PMG team. Bens outgoing and friendly character makes him a natural salesman and his previous employment at Tyco Electronics as a Product Manager and Account Executive has given Ben extensive product knowledge in heat shrinkable tubing and identification aligning his skill set very well to PMG’s core business.
 

 
 

Angela Coates PMGInside Sales and Administrations Team

Our vastly experienced inside sales team consists of three dedicated contacts, Justin Miller, Angela Coates and Dan Jarvis, whose varied skills allow us to provide a well rounded and adaptable customer interface. Justin is an ex-employee of Tyco Electronics and has 10 years market and product experience to call upon, specialising in the Aerospace and Defence. Angela has been working in customer services and administration for many years. Her bubbly personality and strong customer focus make her a personable and reliable point of contact. Dan Jarvis PMGDan is relatively new to the Electronics industry, but is an enthusiastic learner and dedicated team player. Becky Ackary brings good communication skills to our purchasing and credit control functions, further underpinning our good relations with suppliers and customers alike. 

 
 

Sophie Ackary PMGJulian Sattin PMGWarehousing and Quality

The PMG warehousing and quality teams are headed up by Julian Sattin.
Among Julians hardworking and experienced team of logistics, spooling and QA specialists are Jonny Brien and Sophie Ackary.
